Buffalo Bucks Make a Great Gift!

Buffalo Bucks can ordered by calling the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce at 307-684-5544 or visiting our office at 55 N. Main St. Buffalo, WY.

There is a $5.00 processing fee for non-members and $1.00 processing fee for members of the Chamber.

Reminder! The “TO” line on the check is for the business name where the check is being used, NOT for the gift recipient’s name.

Using “Buffalo Bucks”

“Buffalo Bucks” are a gift check issued by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce for a specific dollar amount. Buffalo Bucks can be used as payment at any of the participating businesses.

All of the participating businesses should accept Buffalo Bucks check at its full value, the same as the business would accept a personal check or cash.

If the purchase price is less than the dollar amount of the Buffalo Bucks check, the difference should be returned to you if possible. The business or organization will then deposit the Buffalo Bucks as a check, for its full value. The checks are fully funded by a separate bank account of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.

Each Buffalo Bucks check has a “void after” date, for banking purposes, which is 6 months for all Buffalo Bucks.

How to accept Buffalo Bucks

A Buffalo Bucks gift certificate is an actual check issued by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce to be used similar to a personal check. When a Buffalo Bucks check is presented as payment and the purchase is less than the total amount, simply give back the remainder in cash. Each check should have two signatures and expires 6 months from issuance.
